The municipality of Jevany lies on the edge of the national nature reserve Voderady Beech Forests with recreational use, surrounded by forests. Preserving the genius loci of one of the most famous recreational settlements of the 20th century near Prague (summer and permanent living in villas, later a weekend houses area) was a priority. The main direction of development is individual housing and areas for individual recreation while preserving the landscape character of the wooded area with a cascade of ponds on the Jevansky Stream.
The project included the definition of a territorial system of ecological stability, including elements of the supra-regional level, support for the development of tourism and medium-term and short-term recreation of the inhabitants of Prague in connection with the historical development of the territory, but with regard to nature and landscape protection, addition of civic amenities including areas for sports, addition and increase of the capacity of technical infrastructure.
