A structural assessment of the steel storage hall and the chemical storage tank shelter at the OQEMA, s.r.o. site was carried out to evaluate their current technical condition and propose suitable measures for their future use.
The assessment included visual inspections of the steel structures, checks of geometry and welded joints, and ultrasonic measurements of material loss due to corrosion. Based on the diagnostic results, the condition of the individual structures was evaluated and appropriate technical solutions were proposed.
For the storage hall, repair and strengthening of the steel structure, including restoration of the corrosion protection system, were designed. Based on the identified technical condition of the chemical storage tank shelter, replacement of the existing structure with a new steel structure was proposed.
The deliverables included a detailed structural assessment report and design documentation for the proposed measures. The documentation provided a technical basis for subsequent modifications to the technological equipment planned by the investor.
