As part of the concurrence of short shutdowns, the check of the flue gas ducts, bypasses, dampers and expansion joints condition for units B2, B3 and B4 was carried out. As the shutdown was very short, the inspection had to take place immediately after the units were shut down and had to be carefully planned. Specifically, these were: visual inspection of the surface of the flue gas ducts, dampers and bypasses, ultrasonic measurement of the residual thickness of the material, measurement of the thickness of corrosion protection, checking the condition of the dampers including testing their functionality. Finally, a report on the inspection including photo documentation was prepared.
